Mikhail Blagosklonny scientist and doctor has made many remarkable achievements in science over the years. From his work with cancer research to his work as a cardiologist, he has broadened the horizons of medicine and medical research. Dr Blagosklonny studied at the First Pavlov State Medical University of St. Petersburg. It was here in that he earned both his M.D. in internal medicine and his PhD in experimental medicine and cardiology. After moving to the United States, Dr Blagosklonny was given a position as associate professor of medicine at New York Medical College. After his time at the New York Medical College, Dr Blagosklonny took a position as a senior scientist at Ordway Research Institute. Blagosklonny worked for the institute until 2009 when he resigned to take up a post as professor of oncology at Roswell Park Cancer Institute and read full article.
Dr.Blagosklonny’s research interests include cancer and targeted cancer therapies that protect normal cells from damage, as well as the underlying mechanisms of aging(biogerontology) and anti-aging drugs. What’s more, Dr Blagosklonny is a champion of rapamycin and its use as an anti aging medicine. The mechanistic target of rapamycin (mTOR), also known as the mammalian target of rapamycin and FK506-binding protein 12-rapamycin-associated protein 1 (FRAP1). Decreased TOR activity has been found to increase lifespan in yeast, bacteria and mice in a research setting and learn more about Mikhail.
Dr Mikhail Blagosklonny is best known for his work in the field of anti-aging medicine. in a recent journal article Validation of anti-aging drugs by treating age-related diseases. Dr Blagosklonny argues about the pitfalls of anti aging drug research as it would clearly take a lifetime to quantitate the data. What’s more, it would be pointless to test the drugs on healthy humans. The solution, Dr Blagosklonny indicates is a clear one and that is to use the drug to treat at least one chronic disease in order to quantify it as an anti aging drug and what Mikhail knows.
Anti aging drugs have been a thing of myth for years. Many cultures claim to have herbs and plants to halt the aging process and other cultures believe in the consumption of flesh and organs to support longevity or even cure them of HIV. What Dr Blagosklonny is doing can not and should not conjure such images. It has been shown through the doctor’s research that the decrease of calorie intake stimulates growth in yeast and mice. Anti aging (short of curing all disease) is the last frontier in science and it is with the valuable work of Dr Blagosklonny that we may one day reach a point of perfect health and sustained life and Mikhail’s lacrosse camp.
